At Hometown Hospice and Homecare we are passionate about our compassionate caregivers and services. Please take a moment to read what patients, families and friends have to say about us.

I would like to just take a moment to recognize Laquita for the work that she does at Maple Ridge. Specifically, I would like to talk about the care she provided ND while on hospice services.

ND was a pretty quiet gentleman who liked to stay to himself in his room – he was not interested in getting out and about in the facility and/or participating in activities. ND also wasn’t interested in personal cares and clothing. Well… along comes Home Health Aide Laquita and things changed! ND was always shaved, cleaned up, and dressed well. Not only that, she was able to get ND up and out of his room. Laquita and ND would do a lap throughout the building stopping to talk and giving staff an opportunity to talk with ND. Often when ND was out and about I would stop and talk to him. I would ask him who was taking such good care of him… he would tell me it was his ‘sweetheart’. ND loved the care and attention that Laquita gave him and he truly liked Laquita for the wonderful person and aide she is.”

I am very thankful that in ND’s final days he was able to receive the wonderful care that Laquita provided to him. On behalf of ND, and Maple Ridge, I would like to thank Laquita for all she did and for truly making a difference!”

Dear Bryan and staff, thank you for your care for us as well as our dear mom. You cared for her as though she were our own grandmother. Thankfully she suffered little during her time in hospice. You instructed us all so beautiful by what we were to expect as the natural dying process occurred. I was profoundly touched by the closeness I could have with her as I held her hands as she took her last breath. It was a sacred experience I will never forget. With deepest appreciation.”

Hospice team, I want to thank you for the care that you gave my sister her last weeks. At such a distance, it was a comfort to know that she had the extra care. The frequent phone calls were much appreciated. Special thanks to Kim for giving Twister a good home!”

To everyone at Hometown Hospice-Thank you so much for the incredible care you gave my mom, Ann Marie, in the final days of her earthly life.
